Born in Istanbul, shaped in New York, and rooted in Armenia, Hayk brings a lifetime of experience in rug restoration, traditional weaving, and cultural preservation. His work is driven by a passion for storytelling through craft and a deep commitment to safeguarding Armenian heritage.

Mariam Nalbandyan

Co-Founder & Natural Dye Specialist
Mariam is a textile artist and natural dye expert with a soulful connection to plant-based color and ancient techniques. Her creative leadership and deep knowledge breathe life into Woolway’s workshops, products, and vision for sustainable artisan practice.
